Communities Rising! - Shoreline / LFP meets Sunday in Shoreline

Communities Rising! - Shoreline / Lake Forest Park is holding its monthly meeting this Sunday, June 4th, at the Shoreline/LFP Senior Center, 18560 1st Ave NE #1.

Part of the agenda includes small group sharing on the question:

"What has inspired you, touched you, surprised you over the past few months of political turmoil; what has lifted you up or brought you down?" 

General discussion topics will include: the special election in the 45th Legislative District, immigrant and refugee support, and ways that we can work on behalf of the environment, both locally and globally.

It is hoped that attendees will bring donations of school supplies, hygiene and dental products for Shoreline students who need them.

Our meeting will start promptly at noon and run until 2:00pm. These meetings are intended to bring members of our community together to shape a future that works for all people and the planet.

All are welcome.
