Howard Chermak of Edmonds-based Chermak Construction, Inc. announced recently that he is retiring after 37 years of serving the people of the community he loves.
The company has been sold to Noah France of France Construction, LLC located in Woodinville.
Mr. France has spent his entire career in the construction industry and brings a wealth of experience to Chermak. He has a great respect for the Chermak Construction brand and what it means.
The company will continue to operate under the Chermak name and in its current location.
Many Chermak employees have worked with Noah and his team over the years and value how he operates.
In talking about the transition, Noah commented that “Howard and I have worked hard on this sale and transition. We wanted to be careful that it provided the best long-term solution for both Chermak Construction and France Construction customers and employees. We believe we got it right and that all will benefit from this change.”

Howard Chermak commented that “It is time for me to retire and pass this company on to a second generation. I believe that Noah has the qualities needed to lead Chermak Construction into the future.
