It's Hard to Say Goodbye

Hard to believe that we are into December already this year.  As we look back on the year that started in August we welcomed a student teacher to our building.  Mr. Frank Meisl was  a student teacher from Benedictine University in Lisle.  Mr. Meisl's primary role was to work with the upper grades at Goodrich but found himself working with almost every grade in the school at one point in the 15 weeks he was with us.  Mr. Meisl worked closest with the 5th grade attending outdoor ed, working in their math classes and seeing some 5th graders for reading.  Today many students returned to Goodrich expecting to see Mr. Meisl but forgetting that he had finished his student teaching with us on Friday, December 1st.  Mr. Meisl will be finishing up his education degree this spring while finishing his senior year play baseball for the Benedictine Eagles.

Good Luck Mr. Meisl, Goodrich wishes you the best of luck on finishing your senior year.  If anyone would like to see one of his baseball games click the link below.  You will find Mr. Meisl hanging out down the foul line in the bullpen waiting for his number to be called.
