It's kind of funny how things work out.

The other day I said this graphic could keep me busy for years:

How little did I realize then how soon I would be looking at this same graphic again.

This time because this well came off the confidential list today and is on the graphic:
  • 32349, 1,168, CLR, Hereford Federal 9-20H, Elm Tree, 86 stages; 14.3 million lbs, in excess of 100K in first four months of full production; t8/17; cum 116K 11/17; no production first three months of production. The CLR Hereford wells are tracked here.
The obvious question: are there any older wells in that same area that might have been affected by the new well?

Yup, this well:
  • 19397, 417, CLR, Buelingo 1-20H, Elm Tree, API: 33-053-03235, t3/11; cum 227K 11/17 (note, it's even started flaring again). No evidence over at FracFocus that it has been refracked. 2,548 bbls over 3 days extrapolates to 25,480 bbls over a 30-day month.

Two other wells in the graphic above:
  • 18138: has not been taken off line and has shown a very, very small -- but definite -- jump in production in 10/17 - 11/17, currently producing about 2,000 bbls/month whereas before 6/17 producing about 1200 bbls/month
  • 19503: was taken off line for a short "off-and-on" period 7/17 - 9/17 and showed an interesting bump in production, 9/17 - 10/17
