Third round of the US Open.

Tiger did not make the cut.

Phil made the cut but probably wish he had not.

He bogeyed the first two holes in the third round. That was bad enough but nothing compared to what happened two holes later.

First, the screen shot just after the first two holes of the third round.

Now, the screen shot after the 13th hole. Quadruple bogey.

After the 13th hold, Phil fell 27 places, to be tied at 62. Moments later, he fell another place, to be tied at 63. 

Anyone who says professional golf is not exciting does not understand professional golf. All of a sudden, even without Tiger Woods, the US Open has gotten very, very interesting.

Trivia: today is Phil Mickelson's 48th birthday.
